This ministry was established in September of 2011 to offer an opportunity for people in recovery to work together to overcome their addictions, hang-ups and bad habits in a Christian environment.
We are a group of men and women who realize we are powerless over many things and we need a loving God to care for us and guide us. We are dedicated to learning more about our God and devoting our lives to serving Him and our fellow man. Living by the principles of the 12 steps helps us to grow closer to God and allows us to face the troubles of life with more power and courage. We know the power comes from our Lord.
If you are interested in getting closer to God and being a part of a recovery community then perhaps Life Recovery Fellowship is the place for you. Perhaps your reading this is not by accident. Maybe God is leading you to us so we can bless you and you can bless us with your presence. No doubt our sweet Lord will bless us all as we strive to be better people and more faithful followers of Christ.
We are not perfect people by any means. We know very well that we are broken and need mending. That is what brought us to recovery in the first place. Some of us are members of other 12 step groups and/or church families. We meet together to share our experience, strength and hope with each other so that we can learn from each other, and lend our support to one another.
We sincerely believe you will be blessed while attending Life Recovery Fellowship. We know the Lord has many blessings in store for us. We want to stick with Him and position ourselves to receive whatever He has for us. Please feel free to visit us, and perhaps make our group your home. We meet each Sunday evening at 6pm at the Summit Leadership Building. The address is 3515 Bristol Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37601. We are on the 2nd floor.
We meet on Tuesday evening at 6pm at Greater Love Church of God in Christ at 130 Garden Dr, Johnson City, TN 37604. We meet in the fellowship hall.
