Personal bio – All about me...
Steve Holder was born and raised in the northeastern corner of the great state of Tennessee. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. His first job was washing dishes in a small hometown restaurant called The Dutch Maid. He was paid 75 cents per hour. He later moved up in the world to Bob’s Car Wash and received a huge wage of $1 per hour.
He is also a veteran who served in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army. He volunteered soon after turning 18 years of age, and went through basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky and later transferred to Fort Campbell, which is on the border of Tennessee and Kentucky.
Steve was ordained as a minister on May 4, 1997 at Christ Worship Center in Richmond, Virginia and has a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Spirit of Truth Institute. He is a member in good standing of The Full Gospel of Christ Fellowship.
He has done a lot with his ministry training over the years, including facilitating a Bible Study in a prison near his hometown, preaching and teaching at various churches, and writing an extensive Bible Correspondence Course with students all over the USA.
Steve also holds a Certificate of Religious Counseling from the World Theological Seminary.
He is an accomplished writer with three works of fiction and seven non-fiction titles to his credit. His most popular book is actually his autobiography called No One Walks Alone, where he chronicles his issues with depression, anxiety, and addiction.
In 2020 Steve ran for U.S. Congress in the 1st Congressional District of Tennessee. He ran as a Progressive Independent and vowed to donate 90% of his salary to charity if he won. Steve spoke up for the impoverished and homeless. He ran as a strong anti-racist speaking up for the BIPOC community. He also promoted strong support of any organization that stood against human trafficking.
Steve formerly served on the Board of Directors of REBOS Inc. a 501c3 non-profit organization that owns and manages property that provides a place for recovery support groups to meet and offer support. He was also on the Board of Directors of Global Association For Trauma Recovery (GAFTR), an organization that offers support, resources, and education to survivors of trauma. He resigned both positions after his heart attack in November 2021 in order to reduce stress in his life.
He resides in east Tennessee where he spends his time spreading the gospel, writing, marketing his work on social media, watching pro wrestling, and attending Bible studies and other church related activities.
He is currently a member of Greater Love Church of God in Christ, and is dedicated to building church membership and effectiveness.
